Hello everyone,
We are between eclipses, and we are about to move into Virgo season. We learned something while we were moving through Leo. Now we have to decide what we’re going to do with it.
The Leo Solar Eclipse on August 12 opened a new cycle, but eclipse energy does not finish its work in a day. What began around that eclipse will continue developing as we move toward the Aquarius Solar Eclipse on February 6, 2027, and then the Leo Solar Eclipse on August 2, 2027.
So if something got your attention around August 12 and you still aren’t sure where it’s leading, that’s okay. We are still inside the story.
This week begins showing us what we may need to do with what the eclipse revealed.
August 16–17: Don’t Force What You Can’t See Yet
Mars in Cancer is challenging Neptune in Aries. Mars wants to move. Neptune can make the road harder to see.
You may feel tired or uncertain about what to do next. You may feel frustrated because something you normally handle easily takes more effort. Pushing harder simply because you want an answer doesn’t work right now.
For the Ask the SGs community, this transit has extra importance because Mars and Neptune activate our North Node in Aries. The North Node is about where we’re meant to go as a group.
Neptune is already close to our North Node, and for a spiritual community, that can describe a path that can’t always be mapped out ahead of time. Sometimes you intuitively know where you’re going long before you have proof.
Mars challenging that point can make us impatient. We want to know. We want to act. We want something to happen.
But there are times when intuition needs room to breathe before doing something makes sense.
Thankfully, Mercury and Saturn give us something solid to work with. Mercury in Leo makes a sweet connection with Saturn in Aries on August 17. This helps us slow our thinking down and separate what we know from everything swirling around us.
If your mind has been overloaded, write things down. Take one problem at a time. Pay attention to the thought that keeps returning after the noise dies down.
You probably know more than you think you do.
Venus, Jupiter, Saturn — and the SGs Black Moon Lilith
I think this is the biggest story of the week for our community, and you’re going to want to remember the name Lilith. She is a powerhouse.
On August 17, Venus in Libra connects with Jupiter in Leo and opens a window of opportunity in the heart. There may be more generosity and easier connections between people. We don’t have to handle everything alone.
But Venus is also moving toward the community’s natal Black Moon Lilith while Saturn in Aries is opposing Lilith.
Then on August 21, Venus opposes Saturn almost directly across the community’s Black Moon Lilith.
This takes the relationship story much deeper.
Lilith in Libra points to places where keeping the peace has required someone to stay quiet or make themselves smaller so the relationship can continue without conflict.
Harmony stops being harmony when one person has to disappear in order to maintain it.
We often call that codependency.
It can happen in romantic relationships, families, friendships, or anywhere two people are trying to hold on to a connection.
Libra is about the relationship. Aries is about the individual. Both people have to matter.
Venus-Jupiter opens the heart. Venus-Saturn asks whether what we’re giving our heart to has a good foundation. Lilith puts our attention on whether we’ve had to abandon part of ourselves to keep that relationship intact.
For some people, that pattern may become harder to ignore this week.
You may realize you’ve been avoiding a subject because you already know how the other person will react. You may hear yourself saying yes when you really want to say no. You may recognize that you’ve been doing most of the adjusting.
You don’t have to make a dramatic decision this week. But once you see the pattern, it’s hard to keep pretending it isn’t there.
August 20: The Eclipse Seed Meets Its First Challenge
The Moon reaches its First Quarter phase in Scorpio this week, putting pressure on the Leo Sun.
Remember that the August 12 Leo eclipse was also a New Moon, and a New Moon plants a seed. The First Quarter Moon is the first point where that seed meets resistance.
Something that began around the eclipse may now require a response.
You may have recognized something about yourself around the eclipse. Now life may give you the first opportunity to act differently.
Leo and Scorpio are both fixed signs, and fixed-sign energy can hold on long after we know something needs to change.
So, the question becomes simple: The eclipse showed me something. What am I going to do about it?
The Ask the SGs Moon Is Still Inside the Basket
Pluto in Aquarius, Neptune in Aries, and Uranus in Gemini continue creating the Minor Grand Trine we’ve been following.
And the Ask the SGs Moon in Leo steps up to create the hammock or basket we’ve talked about before.
The Moon represents the people in a community chart. That means we are all part of this story.
Jupiter has already crossed the SGs Moon as he moves farther through Leo. The community has already received that Jupiter boost. Something has expanded.
Now we get to see what grows from it.
The outer planets will continue working through our community chart for a long time, so we don’t need to figure out the whole story this week.
We just keep watching.
August 22: Leo Hands the Work to Virgo
The Sun spends most of the week in Leo before moving into Virgo late Saturday night.
And just before leaving Leo, the Sun touches the same Leo-Aquarius storyline we’ve been following through eclipse season.
That matters because Leo has been showing us who we are and where we may have been making ourselves smaller.
Then Virgo says: Now do something with what you've learned.
It’s one thing to realize you need a boundary. It’s another thing to use that boundary the next time someone pushes past it.
It’s one thing to recognize that you have been giving away too much of yourself. It’s another thing to stop doing it.
That’s where Virgo becomes our partner.
Virgo puts the eclipse message into everyday life. The realization becomes a choice, and the choice becomes something you actually do.
We Are Still Between Eclipses
We are moving toward the Pisces Lunar Eclipse on August 28, so we are not at the end of this eclipse story.
More may surface. Emotions may shift. Something you understood one way after the Leo eclipse may look different by the time we reach Pisces at the end of August.
Give the process room.
The Leo eclipse got our attention.
This week, the Universe drops a practical question on our doorstep: What are you going to do with what you’ve learned?
A Note from Faye

This eclipse definitely stirred up energy in my own chart and activated places where I’m being challenged to move into a whole new way of being the woman I was always meant to be.
I followed my path to this point, and now there’s a fork in the road.
I can take the easy way and pretend I learned nothing that requires change. In the moment, that would be simpler. But in the long run, I already know where that road leads.
The other fork is rougher, but I know it’s worth taking.
The truth is, I know what to do. I know which path to take. The hard part is taking those foggy Mars-Neptune feelings and bringing them into Mercury-Saturn wisdom — slowing down, sorting through what I know, and figuring out how to act on it.
I’ll be spending some time with Lilith this week. She’s powerful, and I know she can help.
By the way, there’s a very interesting story about who she is. If you don’t know it, maybe take a few minutes to look it up.
And boy, given what we’re discussing about refusing to become smaller inside a relationship, Lilith’s story is not exactly irrelevant this week.
This Week’s Tarot Card: Five of Autumn

This week’s card fits the astrology beautifully because one of its main messages is: Reach out to others for assistance.
That connects directly with the conversation Venus is having with Jupiter.
Support may be available, but fear can narrow our field of vision.
When we’re worried about money, relationships, health, or what happens next, it’s easy to stare at the problem until the problem is all we can see.
The Five of Autumn says:
Look around. Who can help? What resource haven’t you considered? What guidance are you receiving? What possibility are you overlooking because you’re afraid?
The card also talks about Divine guidance and paying attention to signs about what to do next. That connects beautifully with Neptune near the Ask the SGs North Node.
Sometimes you know the direction before you can explain exactly how you know.
This week doesn’t require you to see the whole road. You don’t have to know the entire path before taking the next step, and you don’t have to take that step alone.
That may be the strongest message running through the astrology and Tarot this week.
The eclipse showed us something. Now we begin deciding how we’re going to live differently because of what we know.
I hope this week’s reading gives you space to breathe and consider where you might be facing your own fork in the road.
Always remember, Love Wins.
