09.20.26 Ask the SGs Weekly Reading
Hello everyone,
We’ve spent much of September looking again at old beliefs and conversations, at relationships and decisions. Things we thought we understood. We’ve been clearing out some stale thinking and looking honestly at where our perspective has changed.
This week, we begin to understand why.
The astrology builds toward an Aries Full Moon on Saturday, September 26. In our Community Chart, this Full Moon falls across the 3rd and 9th houses that connect what we know with what we believe.

And when what we know changes what we believe, the terms we live by often need to change too.
We see it all the time online: “We’ve updated our terms and conditions.” Well, sometimes we need to update ours too. We change what we’re willing to give and what we agree to.
We change how much of our time and energy we’re willing to invest. Or we simply decide we don’t want to keep doing something the same old way.
What I know now changes what I believe—and that changes what I’m willing to do.
This week a conversation may change your understanding of something that happened months ago. Or maybe you just put two and two together and recognize something you couldn’t see before.
Maybe you realize you aren’t angry about what you thought you were angry about. You understand why a relationship has been bothering you. Or something you agreed to before doesn’t feel acceptable anymore.
Learning something new is one thing. Allowing what you learn to change the way you live is another.
The Full Moon: What Do I Know Now?
The Aries Moon falls in our 3rd house of communication and information. Across from it, the Libra Sun falls in the 9th house of beliefs and worldview.Aries is about the Self and self-empowerment. It’s the sign of “me.”Libra is about how I interact and find balance with others. It’s the sign of “we.”The Aries 3rd house says, “Here’s what happened. Here’s what I learned.”
The Libra 9th house says, “What does this mean for my relationships?”
We lived from what made sense to us then. But we know things now that we didn’t know then.
And that can change the whole story.
But Neptune Says: Don’t Rush It
The Aries Full Moon at 3°37′ is conjunct Neptune retrograde at 2°59′ Aries.
Neptune is our intuition and spiritual awareness. He can help us connect to things we often can’t explain logically. But Neptune can also blur the line between what we know and what we intuitively sense.
Discernment matters.
Ask yourself:
• What do I actually know?
• What am I assuming?
• What am I sensing intuitively?
• What do I still need to learn?
Listen to your intuition. Then give yourself enough time to understand what it’s telling you.We don’t have to solve everything under this Full Moon. Sometimes recognizing I can’t look at this the same way anymore is enough.
Our Emotions Are Part of the Story
The Aries Full Moon is also having a supportive conversation with the Moon in our Community Chart.
That Moon-to-Moon connection can drop something good into our lap, while the Libra Sun unlocks a window of opportunity that only we can choose to open. Our Community Moon in Leo is also connected with the Uranus-Neptune-Pluto pattern we’ve been talking about this year. Remember the basket formation from earlier this summer? It’s still with us now.
So, this isn’t happening in our heads.
Maybe you’ve spent months trying to talk yourself into being okay with something. You understand why another person behaved the way they did, so you’ve tried to make room for it. But understanding someone else’s reasons doesn’t automatically make their behavior okay.
Oh, my stars! This really hits home with me in a big way.
And perhaps, like me, you’ve told yourself, It’s fine. I can handle it. And maybe you can.
But the question now may be: Do I still want to keep doing this the same way?
You know that old saying about the insanity of doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result? Well… it might be time to stop doing that.
Mars: Now It Gets Practical
Mars gives that question some muscle.
Transiting Mars has crossed from our 7th house of committed partnerships into our 8th house of shared resources and emotional ties. He’s also reactivating our Community Chart’s Mars-Pluto opposition.
So, now our questions get more concrete.
If I understand this relationship differently, what needs to change?
If I recognize that I’ve been taking responsibility for something that belongs to someone else, what needs to change?
If resentment has been building because I keep agreeing to something I don’t really want to do, what needs to change?
This doesn’t automatically mean ending a relationship or walking away from an obligation.
Sometimes we only need to change the rules of engagement. You know, those terms and conditions I mentioned earlier.
You might say no. You might ask the question you’ve avoided asking. Maybe you stop volunteering before anyone has even asked.
Your time, money, and emotional energy belong in the equation too.
Jupiter: What Can I Actually Do Differently?
Jupiter is traveling through our 8th house, where he’s having a helpful conversation with our Community Chart’s Jupiter in the 6th house of ordinary life.
And I love that because after all the astrology, eventually we have to get up tomorrow morning and live our lives.
So, ask yourself: What can I do differently?
Send the text—or don’t send the text.
Ask the question you’ve kept locked inside.
Stop automatically saying yes.
Give yourself a day before answering.
The change in understanding may be enormous, but your first action doesn’t have to be.
Something We Thought Was Settled
Venus is traveling through Scorpio and Mars is approaching Leo, and they will both eventually turn retrograde. They’re preparing to do their own version of the Moonwalk. So, something may reappear that isn’t quite finished.
A relationship issue, financial question, or decision we thought was behind us may need another look.
But there’s an important difference between where we were earlier this month and where we are now.
Earlier in September: I’m seeing this differently.
This week: I’m beginning to understand why.
By Saturday’s Full Moon: What I know now changes what I believe.
Then comes the part that belongs to us: If I understand this differently now, what does that change about what I’m willing to take part in?
You don’t need the entire answer by Saturday.
Pay attention when you hear yourself thinking, I can’t look at this the same way anymore.
You know more now than you knew then.
And that changes things.
This Week’s Tarot: Five of Summer

Our card for the week, traditionally called the Five of Cups, fits beautifully with everything we’ve been talking about.
This card deals with regret and the emotions that can keep us focused on something painful long after the original experience has passed. But there’s another part of the message we can use this week: Remove yourself from the negative emotions of others.
Oh boy.
Sometimes we understand why someone behaves the way they do. We know their history. We recognize their wounds. We can even have compassion for what they’ve been through.
But understanding someone doesn’t mean we have to continue responding to them in the same way.
And that takes us right back to our question: Do I still want to keep doing this the same way?
The fairy on the card is worried about something she can’t quite see. She’s ready to fly away, but taking some time to think will serve her better.
That sounds a whole lot like our Neptune questions: What do I know? What am I assuming? What am I sensing intuitively? What do I still need to learn?
The Five of Summer doesn’t want us to pretend something didn’t hurt. But we don’t have to keep letting what happened affect us in the same way either.
We know more and understand ourselves better now.
That means we get to choose a different response this time.
A Note from Faye

Once again, I realized I’ve already been living the astrology I’m writing about. Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve made some significant decisions about long-standing relationships in my own life.
And I’ve found myself asking the same question I’m asking you this week: Do I still want to keep doing this the same way?
In a few cases, my answer was no.
That doesn’t mean I stopped loving anyone or slammed any doors. But I did change the terms of my participation.
Relationships happen on a two-way street, and I realized I’ve been standing out there alone in a few of them for a very long time.
Thankfully, I can leave the door open without standing in the doorway waiting for others. That’s a big shift for me.
This connects with my health too. As many of you know, I’ve had some challenges this year that intensified over the past couple of months. I’m feeling much better now, thank goodness, but my body has required more of my attention. I’ve slowed down, postponed some client work, and taken a break from writing my memoir because I needed some breathing room.
With Uranus traveling through my 6th house of health and daily life, I’ve had to reconsider how I use my energy.
That’s why this week’s reading feels so personal to me.
I can love someone and change what I’m willing to do.
I can understand someone and still say no.
I can leave a door open without standing there waiting.
The experience comes first, and then the astrology gives me language for what I’ve been going through.
So, when I ask, Do I still want to keep doing this the same way?
I’m asking myself too.And when the answer is no, we don’t need to blow up our lives. We just need to do something differently now.
And most of all, I hope this week’s reading will be your reminder that, like me, you’re allowed to update your terms and conditions any time you want.
💞 Faye
