The Eclipse Made Me Do It

Well, that August 28 Pisces Full Moon Lunar Eclipse had a little something to say about my plans. 😂

The eclipse fell at about 5° Pisces, opposite the Sun and Mercury in Virgo, with Mercury sitting right there in the heart of the Sun. In my own chart, that lights up my 3rd, 6th, 9th, and 12th houses and lands right on my natal Pluto and challenges my Sun in Sagittarius. Uranus is also opposing my Sun now, so there’s a whole lot of awakening, disruption, re•membering, and digging around in places that have been kept tucked away for a very long time.

Apparently, even the astrologer has to listen to her own astrology every once in a while. 😂

And I know I’m not the only one feeling this.

Pluto made his permanent move into Virgo in June 1958, so anyone born roughly between June 1958 and September 1964 has Pluto somewhere between 0° and 13° Virgo, putting that natal Pluto directly into the territory being activated by the August 28, 2026, eclipse.

The closer your Pluto is to 5° Virgo, the tighter the opposition from the Pisces Moon. But even those with Pluto a little farther into Virgo may feel this one strongly, especially if other planets or angles in their chart are involved.

And eclipses don’t pack up and go home the next morning. This one is part of a longer Virgo-Pisces eclipse story that continues into the February 20, 2027, lunar eclipse in Virgo. (Time and Date)

So, this week, I’m practicing what I preach even more diligently.

I’m taking a little break from the memoir, giving myself some room to see what’s coming up, and letting the next chapter wait until next Sunday.

Just a heads up … depending on how I manage this week, I might even take a second week off. But I promise, I’ll be back in September with the next chapter.

See you then!
