Ask the Spirit Guides Weekly Reading
Clear Eyes, Quick Shifts, and Right Moves
“At the center of your being, you have the answer…” — Lao Tzu
"But finding that answer is gonna mess up your hair!" — Faye
This week, it’s full speed ahead with a little bit of “take it easy there, champ” underneath. Uranus in Gemini is pedal to the metal, and Venus helps us find the beauty in this adventure as the wind whips through our hair.

As Venus moves through Gemini, she connects to Neptune in Aries and Pluto in Aquarius, just as Uranus moves out of Taurus and into Gemini. It makes me think of speed dating (do they still do that?), where Venus is looking for her perfect match while moving too fast to really get to know anybody. But she’s having fun, and we need some of that right now.
That’s a big shift that will resonate for a while before we find our new normal and things begin to settle down. That means your wind-whipped hair will be a mess for a bit.
Uranus has a reputation when he’s in Gemini, which happens about every 84 years. He breaks apart old ways of thinking so we can rewire our brains and see the world differently. He’s not trying to cause trouble, but that kind of big change makes a lot of noise. In the past, it’s been the noise of war.
But this kind of disruption also comes through sudden news or moments where you realize something isn’t working the way it did before.
As all of this pedal-to-the-metal, hair-all-a-mess energy is going on, the Sun is moving through easygoing Taurus. So, while everything else is speeding up and blowing things all over, this part of the sky reminds us to take a beat to take a breath and stay grounded.
Pay attention to your body and connect to what feels solid and dependable in your life. That will help you handle everything else that’s moving so fast.
And those conversations between Venus and the outer planets bring us the adventurous support we need, just in the nick of time.
The Frame for This Week
• Everything centers in the Ask the SG’s 4th and 5th houses
→ home, family, your foundation, and what gives you a sense of security
→ creativity, joy, risk, expression, children, and the inner child
• Venus and Uranus are both active in the 5th
→ this is expressive, reactive, and alive
• The Sun is in the 4th
→ this is a desire for peace, nesting, and maternal comfort
• What’s happening here connects directly to:
→ SG’s 2nd house (Pluto): money, values, what matters to you
→ SG’s 3rd house (Neptune): communication, thinking, conversations
The Timeline
April 23 — Venus sits with Uranus at 29° Taurus
This is when something shifted. Pressure was high as something came to a close. This is awakening energy that leads to new choices and a change in direction.
April 25 — Uranus enters Gemini
The tone changes quickly. It goes from slow and steady to fast and responsive. Many of us will feel the pace pick up. It also opens up conversations that can change our world.
April 25–27 — Sun square Pluto
The Sun in Taurus is in a challenging conversation with Pluto, and that can make us feel pushed to deal with something we’ve been putting off, or to make a change before we feel ready.
We’re in our soul path’s gym, lifting weights. It doesn’t always feel comfortable, but it’s how we grow and get stronger.
Venus in Gemini is still close enough to Uranus to keep things moving. Hair's a mess, brush nearby :)
April 26 — Venus sextile Neptune
This is where you find your balance. Your instinct is sharp, and you realize you can feel your way through without needing to know where every single step will take you. There’s no time for overthinking. This is a spiritual connection to your 5D higher self, and it shows up in 3D decisions.
April 28 — Venus trine Pluto
Pluto is resurrection energy, but something must pass before it can reincarnate. This makes room for us to find a landing place and begin to see real results that we can touch and feel. Conversations lead to solid choices, and decisions stick because they line up with what we value on this side of change.
This Week’s Energy
For everyone, things are moving fast this week. We’ve been feeling that building, but now it picks up speed. Pedal to the Metal, right?
For the SGs community, things happen, and we’re right in it, responding as we go, hair blowing and all.
When Uranus moves into Gemini, the energy shifts from all the Taurus shake-ups we’ve had to deal with connected to stability and routine, and moves into something fast-moving, driven by conversations and quick decisions.
These are conversations that can change your plans, so pay attention. There’s a lot coming at you, and it can get noisy. It might even feel like everything is happening all at once. This week, don’t tune it out. Listen closely. But do it from a grounded position.
This is part of a collective awakening. People are thinking differently. We’re all trying to make sense of a lot of information at once. That can feel unsettling, especially as things move and change so quickly. We're all seeing it in our own lives and in the world around us.
Let Venus help you sort through what you’re hearing so you can tell what fits for you. She’s helping you enjoy the ride (as the wind blows and your hair flies) while you figure things out.
How to Work with It
• Stay present in the moment. Connect to the adventure.
• Pay attention to what feels right in your body. Put your feet on the grass now and then.
• Adjust to changes instead of resisting them. Let your hair fly everywhere.

Bringing It All Together
When you step back and look at the week as a whole, the astrology is telling us that shifts are happening quickly. That's not breaking news because most of us have been feeling that for a while. But how we respond to that energetic change makes all the difference.
The shift is already in motion, so your job is to channel some Sun in Taurus energy and stay calm. Then, when out-of-the-blue shifts show up at your door, you can act from a place where you know what to do because your inner wisdom has had a chance to have a say in the matter.
A Simple Practice for This Week
The Pause
When things are moving fast, don’t resist. Instead …
Take a moment to:
• Pause for just a few seconds
• Take one steady breath in and let it out slowly
• Feel your feet on the ground or your body in the chair
Then ask yourself, “Does this feel right for me?”
If the answer is yes, move.
But, if it’s not clear, give it another minute before you act.
Trust your intuition, your inner wisdom.
Take another breath.
Then make a choice.
This Week’s Card Reading

The Nine of Autumn
This card reminds us that we’ve put in the time and done the work. We’ve built something solid, even if it doesn’t always feel that way.
Sometimes we’re just too close to the story to see how far we’ve come.
Because of that, you don’t need a long time to figure things out this week. You just need to trust that “at the center of your being, you have the answer…” — Lao Tzu
When something shifts, and it will, you’re more prepared than you think.
You can trust what you know and trust what feels right.
Take a moment to appreciate how far you’ve come. The foundation you’ve built is what helps you handle a week like this.
And this week is just the beginning. The pace is picking up. Things are moving fast, but you’ll get used to it. You’ll find your rhythm, and you’ll learn how to work with this energy instead of feeling pushed around by it.
And that’s when you can finally brush that wild hairdo into something more manageable.
I hope this reading gives you a solid place to stand in a week of big change.
Faye
