Hello everyone,

This week Pluto in Aquarius, Mars-Chiron in Aries, transits through Taurus, and Jupiter in Cancer are all in the headlines.

In the community chart, Pluto is in our 2nd house of money, values, and possessions. Jupiter is in our 7th house of relationships, and the action in Aries is happening in our 4th house of home and family.

On May 6, Pluto in Aquarius stationed retrograde and will remain there until October 15, 2026.

This begins a deep period of review surrounding our personal awakening and the truth of who we are. Pluto retrograde in Aquarius shows us what no longer fits, especially in situations and groups where we once felt comfortable. Now we don’t.

Personally, I went through this kind of Plutonic restructuring when I left the conservative evangelical Christian church after building my entire life and career there. That’s the kind of deep change Pluto can bring.

In my work, Pluto is the therapist on an archaeological dig uncovering truths buried in the past. In Aquarius, those truths connect to rejection and the fear of not fitting in.

This can connect to this lifetime and to our past lives.

Don’t be afraid of what comes up. Feeling fear isn’t the danger. Ignoring the reason it’s there can be.

As we look honestly at these fears, intuition becomes stronger, especially when we stop overriding what we already know deep down.

• some people suddenly know something without understanding how

• some hear phrases or messages internally

• some feel things in their body

• some receive images

• some pick things up through dreams

• some sense energy through touch

• some smell or taste things connected to memory or spirit

Pay attention to how your own intuition naturally speaks to you.

Thankfully, calmer energy arrives this week.

On May 10, the Sun in Taurus connects with Jupiter in Cancer in a warm and cooperative way.

On May 12, Mercury in Taurus joins that conversation.

On May 14, Mercury and the Sun sit together at 22° Taurus as Mercury moves through the heart of the Sun.

And then on May 16, we have the New Moon in Taurus.

This is where the earthen vessel of Taurus becomes the perfect container for Cancer’s loving waters. These peaceful energies connect to safety, stability, nourishment, and emotional grounding. This is where we plant seeds for the future.

Taurus the Bull is happy out in the field chewing sweet grass. He’s not the bull in the china shop tearing things apart. He’s relaxed and happy standing under the warm spring sun.

This week’s Taurus transits reconnect us to the earth, to our bodies, to comfort, and to the places where we can finally exhale.

In Cancer, Jupiter is in his Exaltation, operating at his highest potential and offering protection, nourishment, emotional abundance, and intuitive support.

Jupiter’s medicine in Cancer helps us regulate the nervous system while Pluto digs deep beneath the surface.

This is healing that happens through:

• rest

• home

• safe people

• emotional honesty

• inner child work

• and reconnecting to the people who truly feel like our tribe

And your gut feelings may become remarkably accurate now.

Then on the May 16 Taurus New Moon, Mars connects with Chiron at 28° Aries.

Mars in Aries wants movement, courage, and action. And when he connects with Chiron, the wounded healer, many of us will be looking directly at old wounds connected to identity, home, family, belonging, and emotional safety.

Because this happens in the community chart’s 4th house, it can bring up childhood experiences and emotional conditioning that taught us who we had to be to feel loved and accepted.

Mars gives us the drive to finally do something about it.

This is sacred warrior energy.

Chiron’s medicine helps us reclaim the right to exist as our authentic self without apology or shame.

And this echoes Pluto’s work in Aquarius.

Both are asking:

• Who are you underneath the conditioning?

• Who are you when fear no longer runs the show?

• Who are you when you stop shrinking yourself to belong?

We don’t have to make ourselves smaller in order to fit in.

That’s a big part of what this week is about.

This Week’s Tarot Card: The Four of Winter

This card is a perfect match for the astrology we’re moving through.

Pluto retrograde in Aquarius is bringing old wounds and memories to the surface so we can look at them honestly. Mars and Chiron in Aries help us see where we’ve felt rejected, unsafe, or unable to be ourselves.

That kind of healing work can be exhausting.

The Four of Winter reminds us that rest, nervous system healing, and creating enough quiet for your mind, body, and spirit to process what’s happening are just as important as letting Pluto dig.

Taurus wants us grounded. Cancer wants us emotionally safe.

Together, they create space for us to breathe, sleep, restore ourselves, and reconnect.

Healing often happens through stillness and rest. Through stepping back from the noise long enough to hear yourself again.

This is a week to:

• rest when your body asks for it

• spend time in nature

• create emotional safety

• listen to your intuition

🌛🌞🌜

A simple way to work with this Taurus New Moon is to create safety for yourself on purpose.

Not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually too.

Ask yourself, “What parts of me learned that I had to shrink, hide, or perform in order to feel safe or loved?”

Then let Taurus’ earth and Cancer’s waters soothe that part of you instead of judging it.

Together, we’re planting good seeds in good soil.
